WINERY
We are more than Green Valtellina
We are 300 years of family history!
We, Norbert, Gisela, Willy and our team have the management of the winery firmly in our hands.
11 generations before us already knew how to deal with viticulture and agriculture and have put their visions into practice.
Since 1721 in Jetzelsdorf, in the picturesque Pulkautal in the Weinviertel, the red wine island around Haugsdorf, the last “Gallic” village before the Czech border.
Hard to believe, long at the end – at least of the western – world and today in the heart of Europe!

CURRENT
We always have wine going on...!
There is no such thing as old and antiquated here, quite the opposite.
At Wein.Leut.Geben you can taste estate and reserve wines and be spoiled with delicacies. Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Chardonnay are just a few of the white wine representatives from our diverse mix of vineyards.
Zweigelt, Sankt Laurent and Blaufränkisch should not be missing as ambassadors from the red wine island.
380,000 vines
The Wine
Full development of the wine instead of self-realization on the part of the winemaker.
With early spring temperatures, hot summer days and, unfortunately, increasingly snowless winters, we work and live with 380,000 vines.
In all directions, our more than 100 individual layers are in basin or steep slopes, on loess and primary rock soil.
With modern technical know-how – combined with traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail – we process the grapes from the Schatzberg, gerichtsberg, Haidberg, Diermannsee, Retzer Parapluiberg and Himmeltau in the historic wine cellar in the Trift.

Holiday at the winemaker
Here you would like to stay longer!
Thanks to our comfortable guest rooms, you can! Strengthened with a healthy Weinviertel breakfast, you can explore the area and the famous cellars on foot or by bike. If you’re lucky, you’ll “spill over” with one of the legendary “Köllmauna” in the depths of a cellar tube.
Our insider tip:
After a hike through the vineyards and pastures, enjoy the sunset with a wine picnic at our Kellerstöckl on the Königstiger Alm!
